Israeli Airports Authority expect 2.9 million passengers ro pass through Ben Gurion Airport through the summer
 
The Israel Airports Authority (IAA) issued a press release, noting it expects Ben Gurion International Airport to experience its peak summer passenger traffic in August.
 
According to the IAA, the airport is likely to see 50,000 up to 60,000 passengers will use Ben Gurion International Airport per day throughout August, using 400 flights a day. The IAA projected 2.9 million passengers are expected to fly in and out through Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport through the summer.
 
The figure, according to the IAA, represents a 2.3% increase from the summer figure of 2011.
 

The IAA noted that in July 2012 some 1.4 million passengers moved through Ben Gurion International Airport – up 4.5% the corresponding month last year.
