Flights will depart Ben Gurion airport at 00:20 and land at Toronto at 05:45 local time
Air Canada Israel announced last week that with Air Canada's aircraft refurbishment program substantially complete, travelers will be able to take advantage of the airline’s expanded summer schedule to travel, as from June 2008, in greater comfort to Israel.
The statement noted that flights will depart Ben Gurion airport at 00:20 and land at Toronto at 05:45 local time whereas flights from Toronto will depart at 23:55 and land at Ben Gurion airport at 17:50 local time.
The company also noted that services from the newly opened Pearson International airport allow fast connections to many US destinations.
Mrs. Ben Zur, director general Air Canada for the Middle East and Africa, said that “Air Canada was passing a milestone in its aircraft interior refurbishment program. With new aircraft and refitted interiors, Air Canada customers will be more comfortable than any armchair traveler, enjoying lie-flat suites in Executive First on international flights and new seats throughout all aircraft, each featuring a personal audio-visual entertainment system" she added “Further enhancing the travel experience on Air Canada this summer is the consolidation of the company's operations in a single terminal at Toronto hub, conveniently located gates, and customs pre-clearance to the U.S., travelers can connect seamlessly with our national, transborder and international network”.
