Arkia Israeli Airlines has been accredited by IATA with the IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit).

The IOSA program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline.

All IATA members are IOSA registered and must remain registered to maintain IATA membership. IOSA is the first globally accepted audit program using internationally agreed standards, improving airline operational safety.

The program is designed to assess the operational management and control systems of airlines. The companies are included in the IOSA registry for a period of 2 years following an audit carried out by an organization accredited by IATA.

The auditing standards have been developed in collaboration with various regulatory authorities, such as the Federal Aviation Administration in the USA, Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority etc. Kobi Zussman, the Israel manager of the International Air Transport Association said that IOSA is based on industry-proven quality audit principles, and is designed to ensure that each audit is conducted in a standardized manner to achieve consistent results. Arkia Israeli Airlines proved its safety record and is among the world's safest airlines.
