"Boeing has played a pivotal role in the growth of EL AL," said David Maimon, President and Chief Executive Officer, EL AL, This milestone of having taken delivery of 50 new Boeing aircraft also represents EL AL's commitment to our customers to provide the highest quality product and services."

The Next-Generation 737-900ER can seat up to 215 passengers in a single-class configuration and has a range of up to 3,235 nautical miles (5,990 km). It features the innovative Boeing Sky Interior featuring new modern sculpted sidewalls and window reveals, LED lighting to enhance the sense of spaciousness and larger pivoting overhead stowage bins.
