C.A.L. Cargo Airlines, provider of worldwide air cargo services and CSafe Global, producer of active and passive packaging solutions for temperature controlled transportation announced a strategic cooperation agreement for the benefit of customers of both companies.

 

As part of the cooperation C.A.L. will be accredited by CSafe's quality assurance program - EQUiP®. The EQUiP® program was developed by CSafe to ensure that service providers participate in all the relevant training programs and have all the necessary knowledge and understanding of the logistical processes for the treatment of temperature controlled shipments using the CSafe RKN container.

 

The EQUiP® accreditation indicates that the operational procedures involved in transporting temperature controlled shipments using CSafe equipment meet the required standards. "This collaborative agreement with CSafe and the EQUiP® accreditation highlights once again our unwavering commitment to professionalism and quality with an emphasis on correct and precise handling of sensitive and temperature controlled cargo", said Eyal Zagagi, C.A.L. Group CEO.

 

Rami Marom, C.A.L. Group VP Ground Operations & COO, continued, saying that "the cooperation with CSafe expands our range of temperature controlled transportation solutions suggested in the framework of our C.A.L. Cool product, which we improve every day".

 

Marom also said that "unlike in the past, the engagement between C.A.L. and CSafe will be carried out directly, creating value by making the lease more cost effective for our customers."

 

CSafe Global Director Customer Support & Partner Management Mark Mohr added that "with C.A.L.’s pure freighter operation and a hub centrally located in Liege, it is clear that the C.A.L. and CSafe customers will benefit from the new agreement".
