CAL Cargo Air Lines Ltd., Israel's boutique air cargo company which provides air cargo services worldwide, has been awarded authorized economic operator (AEO) status by the Israeli customs directorate.
CAL Cargo Air Lines Ltd., is the first Israeli airline to gain AEO status. In addition to boosting CAL's corporate image and reputation, the airline's new AEO status also helps to garner the trust of customers and customs while accelerating customs clearance.
The certification effectively raises security in the entire air cargo supply chain and serves as an emphatic call to action for other operators in the supply chain. In line with governments worldwide, the Israeli customs directorate is encouraging local companies to obtain AEO certification.
As an international carrier, CAL has demonstrated its commitment to supply chain security while supporting the government’s policy on enhancing security in the global logistics supply chain.
