CAL Cargo Airlines Ltd., an Israeli all-cargo airline, has announced that effective September 25, the company will begin a twice-weekly round-trip service from Atlanta, Georgia (USA), to Liege Airport, Belgium.

The service includes two weekly rotations, ATL-LGG-ATL, with the first flight departing Liege on Sept 25.

Eyal Zagagi, CEO of the CAL Group noted that CAL’s fleet of 747-400 with nose door and team of specialty experts in DG, Pharma, Live animals and oversize/overweight cargo combine to answer the unique needs of the Atlanta catchment area”.

Zagagi added that “Until today, Atlanta was an offline station, with service to/from the EU via our JFK operation. We found that the Atlanta catchment area has great potential for us, so to improve the service we offer to this market we are adding Atlanta as an additional online station. This is another step in our growth strategy, strengthening our US network and foothold and we look forward to increasing our presence throughout the year.”
