Israel's El Al Israel Airlines Ltd., which announced in November 2014 that it will begin direct flights between Ben-Gurion International Airport and Boston in the summer, announced it will commence flights in summer 2015.

El Al will be the only carrier operating direct flights from Israel direct to Boston. El Al will operate three weekly flights on the Tel Aviv-Boston route.

The first flight to Boston's Logan International Airport from Israel will take off on June 28, 2015 and the Israeli airline will conduct three weekly flights between the two cities on a Boeing 767-300 ER plane with 218 seats – 22 of which bed-seats reserved for business class and 28 seats for economy plus seating.

With the three weekly Boston flights, El Al will operate 37 weekly flights to North America in the summer to New York, Los Angeles, Boston and Toronto.

Through its code-sharing agreement with JetBlue, passengers can travel on to destinations such as Chicago, Washington DC and Philadelphia, to Dallas, Tampa, Orlando and Raleigh; to San Francisco and Las Vegas.
