A US Airways Airbus A330 on flight US 797 from Tel Aviv to Philadelphia made an emergency landing in Rome on Saturday, after eleven crew members and two passengers got sick.
Two passengers and all crew members reportedly began vomiting and suffered from red eyes. It is not yet clear what happened to the passengers, but a problem with the ventilation system is one suspected cause.
Italian officials said a malfunction in the ventilation system of the Airbus A330 which carried 129 passengers may have been the cause of the problem.
