German privately owned carrier Germania Fluggesellschaft mbH, has scrapped plans to serve Eilat Ovda Int'l in Israel and has replaced them instead with Tel Aviv Ben Gurion international airport.

 

According to the company, 2 weekly flights from Dusseldorf to the Israeli commercial hub will commence from November 2 on-board B737-700 equipment.


The German leisure operator also serves Tel Aviv from Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel and Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden.

 

Germania operates scheduled and charter flights to destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East from several German bases. Dusseldorf – Tel Aviv flight will be operated by Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
