Germania to Begin Flights Between Tel Aviv- Hamburg, Baden-Baden

German low-cost airline Germania Fluggesellschaft mbH has announced that they will begin flights from Baden Baden and Hamburg to Tel Aviv in March 2015.

 

The planned frequency is two weekly flights to Hamburg, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and one weekly flight to Baden-Baden/Karlsruhe, in southern Germany’s Black Forest, which has become a popular destinations for Israelis, on Mondays. All flights will be on Airbus A 319 aircraft.

 

These flights will be Germania’s first flight routes to Israel. The airline has expressed that there are more to come following the launch of these including more availability and further destinations.

 

Germania head of Israel sales Paul Scodellaro said, “The new routes will allow Israeli businesspeople and travelers to enjoy regular, direct flights to Hamburg and to Baden-Baden. This will make it possible to easily reach northern and southern Germany from Israel, with greater accessibility than ever.”

 

The Berlin-based carrier Germania, founded 1979, is one of the most renowned German airlines.
 

The independent airline’s route network currently comprises more than 50 international destinations. Germania’s main airports are Bremen, Dusseldorf, Erfurt/Weimar and Munich. Germania currently operates ten Boeing B737-700 and eight Airbus A319 aircraft.
