Royal Jordanian Airlines,(RJ), the flag carrier of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, announced last week that it is launching flights between Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport and the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou's Baiyun International Airport.

 

The route is likely to be popular mainly with businesspeople. Passengers will fly from Ben Gurion International Airport to Amman and from there to Guangzhou with a stopover in Bangkok.

 

The flight will take 14 hours. There will be three weekly flights on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting on March 20. Flights will be on the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with tourist and business class.

 

Royal Jordanian Airlines operating scheduled international services to over 50 destinations in the Middle and Far East, North Africa, Europe and North America. Its main base is Queen Alia International Airport. Royal Jordanian is a member of the oneworld alliance.
