The Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair will expand its flight schedule to Israel in November.
The low-cost carrier will operate 8 weekly flights to Eilat from November with the launch of the Bratislava route.
The Ireland-based company announced that when flights resume to Ovda for the 2015/16 winter season, the airline will operate two weekly flights each to: Kovna, Lithuania; Budapest, Hungary; and Cracow, Poland; and will also add two weekly flights to a new destination - Bratislava, Slovakia.
In the 2014/15 season, which began November 5 and ended last week, Ryanair flew 35,498 passengers on 242 flights between Ovda Airfield near Eilat and Krakow, Budapest and Kovno in Europe.
The Ireland-based company has said that it would like to fly a route between Tel Aviv and Dublin, which has no direct connection at this time.
