SAS Scandinavian Airlines has published its 2014 summer schedule, indicating it will operate 5 weekly direct flights between Tel Aviv and Scandinavia.

The summer schedule shows that three weekly flights will be operated on Tel Aviv-Copenhagen route and two weekly flights on Tel Aviv-Stockholm route.

The airline is also rescheduling its schedule to flights on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, mainly to meet the schedules of business passengers. Departures to Copenhagen will be at 05:20 am, in order to make follow-on flights to USA, Europe as well as Asia.

In 2013, SAS has launched more than 50 new domestic and European routes, as well as the popular Copenhagen-San Francisco route. The company has announced it will add more than 40 new routes for 2014. In total SAS has launched nearly 100 routes in the past two years.

In May 1997 SAS founded Star Alliance together with Air Canada, Lufthansa, United Airlines and Thai Airways International, offering convenient connections throughout an integrated global traffic system.
