German budget airline TUIfly is planning to start new flights from Munich to Tel Aviv in March, 2016. 

 

The flights' which will be operated on Boeing 737-800, will departing from Munich on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from Tel Aviv on Wednesdays and Fridays.

 

The flights from Germany will leave for Israel at 7:25 pm and land in Tel Aviv at 12:05 am. The flights to Germany will leave from Israel at 1:20 am and land in Munich at 5:05 am.

 

TUIfly, with 45 aircraft, is the third largest German airline, after Lufthansa and Air Berlin. Headquartered at the Hannover Airport, it operates services mainly to European holiday resorts and carries more than 12.5 million passengers a year to 80 destinatins in 17 countries.

 

The airline's CEO announced the news and added: “The main goal of the company is to bring tourists from Germany to Israel”.

 

TUI AG, the world's largest tour company, holds a majority of shares in TUI Travel PLC, London, to which the TUIfly airline company belongs. TUIfly uses 26 Boeing 737 aircraft to fly to the classic holiday destinations for TUI.
