Low-cost carrier easyJet plc, UK's largest airline, inaugurated last week (September 24) flights between Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion international airport and Rome's Fiumicino Airport.

In a statement issued by the company it noted that it will operate two weekly flights on the Tel Aviv - Rome route on Tuesdays and Saturdays and fares will start at €50.49 for outbound flights and €86.98 for inbound flights.

easyJet entered the Israeli market in November 2009, when the airline introduced its first flights between London’s Luton airport and Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion international airport.

Since 2009 easyJet has increased the frequency of flights to London to 11 times weekly, and launched three other routes from Tel Aviv to Geneva and Basel in Switzerland ,4 times a week each, and Manchester ,twice a week.
