A two-year NIS 316 million development budget for the Israel Airport Authority ( IAA) was approved last week by the social-economic cabinet. The decision allocated NIS 115 million for 2005 and the rest in 2006.
In a statement issued shortly after the approval the authority pointed out that NIS 145 million had been allocated for already approved projects; information and computer systems, a control system, and investments in border terminals, and NIS 171 million for new projects.
