Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport is the world’s fourth-best international airport, according to an annual survey by Conde Nast Traveler magazine.
Conde Nast Readers’ Choice Awards survey participants gave Ben Gurion airport a rating of 73.414, on a scale of 10.
Ben Gurion Airport falls short of the top slot by ten points to Changi Airport Singapore. According to Conde Nast Traveler, Ben Gurion Airport can attribute its high score to its easy accessibility as well as top security.
Known primarily for being one of the world’s most secure airports, 15 million passengers passed through the airport in 2014 and it has consistently won awards for best airport in the Middle East. Conde Nast Traveler’s list of top ten international airports:

7. Hamad International Airport (DOH) Readers’ Rating: 71.374
8. Abu Dhabi International Airport (AHU) Readers’ Rating: 70.948
9. Zurich Airport (ZRH) Readers’ Rating: 70.601

Notably, Asia and the Middle East dominate the rankings, each receiving four top ten rankings. Europe and North America had one each, securing the ninth and tenth spots, respectively. Neither Africa nor South America made the survey.
