The IAA released figures for the month of June 2015 showing relative growth in cargo and passengers movements through the airport.
During June, the airport handled total of 22,939 tons of cargo, up 4.66% compared to the corresponding month last year. 12,714 tons were transported by freighters and 10,225 tons by passenger aircraft.
Passenger traffic at Ben-Gurion Airport in June was 1,432,924 out of which 1,380,202 were international passenger, Down 3.17% compared to the same period last year. Aircraft movements in June totaled 10,011, down 0.94% compared to the corresponding month last year.
