El Al Israel Airlines Ltd signed last week an interline agreement with Amerijet International, Inc.
The newly signed agreement will enable El Al to offer cargo services to destinations in Mexico, Central South America as well as the Caribbean islands.
El Al will carry cargo to New York from where cargo will be transported overland to Miami. Amerijet will receive the cargo at its Miami central hub from where it will be flown to South American destinations.
Amerijet International is an American cargo airline headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. It operates all-jet cargo services to destinations in Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Its main base is Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, with a hub at Miami International Airport.
The Amerijet International fleet consists of the following aircraft three Boeing 767-200F and eight Boeing 727-200F.
