After a three-month break due to the war between Russia and Georgia, Arkia Israel Airlines resumed its charter flights to Tbilisi.

Tbilisi International Airport [TBS] is the main air gate of Georgia. It has a contemporary design with about 25.000 square meters of usable area. It has all high-tech contemporary systems.
Expectations are not very high that demand among Israeli tourists to fly to Georgia will be high.
The first Arkia flight, a B757, took off from Tel Aviv with only 70 passengers mostly businessmen on board.
