Austrian Airlines announced last week that its summer schedule will see two flights a day to Tel Aviv. The decision to operate a second daily flight adds Austrian Airlines to the exclusive club of airlines operating two daily flights to Tel Aviv
The additional daily flight, beginning on 26th March, will depart at 06:55 and arrive at Vienna at 09:40. It will enable passengers to continue from Vienna on board Austrian Airlines' flights to destinations in the Far East and North America. The return flight will depart Vienna at 20:00 to reach Tel Aviv at 00:30 the following day.
Mr. Eli Messer, Director General Austrian Airlines Israel said in a press release that the departure time was decided upon taking into account the needs of the Israeli business community who prefer early morning departure from Israel and late departure on the return flights to Israel.
Travelers on Austrian Airlines can deposit frequent flyer mileage credits into their choice of either Austrian Airlines Miles & More program.
