The data released by the IAA show that out of the 2 million passengers, 1.9 million were international passengers, compared to 1.7 million passengers in the first quarter of 2006.
The IAA also noted that during this period some 100,000 passengers flew on internal flights, an increase of 9.9% compared to the parallel in 2006.
