C.A.L to begin weekly cargo flights from TLV to Moscow

CAL Cargo Air Lines announced last week that it would begin weekly cargo flights from Tel Aviv to Moscow.
 
The announcement noted that the cargo will be flown by AirBridgeCargo, the largest cargo airlines in Russia, which operates Boeing 747 freighter with carrying capacity of over 100 tons.
 
Mr. Alon Noyberger. C.A.L's commercial director added that the flights will land at Sheremetyevo 2 International Airport which is the main agriculture gateway to Russia.
 
Noyberger added that the vast experience gained by AirBridgeCargo in operating flights to Moscow as well its close co-operation with Flora Import, Russia's largest trader in fresh produce, would benefit Israeli exporters.

Eitan Ben David, C.A.L's chairman noted that the opening of the route was made possible following a new aviation accord, signed recently between Israel and Russia opening the skies to further competition The new agreement enables two national flag carriersfrom each country to fly along the route.
