As from the 2nd October 2005, all flights between Tel Aviv and the European Capital, Brussels, will be operated in partnership between El Al and SN Brussels Airlines.
Both companies recently entered into code share agreement which enables the companies to offer their clients ten weekly flights between Brussels National / Zaventem and Tel Aviv / Ben Gurion airports.
El Al and SN Brussels Airlines both offer business and economy class and provide a premium in-flight service including free drinks, hot meals and newspapers.
Peter Davis Chief Executive Officer of SN Brussels Airlines said "This is very good news for the clients of SN Brussels Airlines and El Al". he added "By joining forces, the quality airlines El Al and SN Brussels Airlines increase the travel options between Israel and Belgium considerably".
Yoav Levy – EL AL's VP Commercial and Industry Affairs said "As a publicly traded company EL AL continues to improve its service to its customers. Brussels, the Capital of Europe is an important destination especially for businessmen and its airport is an important gateway to many countries in Western and Northern Europe. The partnership with SN Brussels Airlines allows us at ELAL to improve our service especially to the business passengers who frequently fly to Europe by offering a better schedule, more frequencies as well as competitive prices".
Passengers can earn frequent flyer miles on all flights and business travellers have access to state of the art lounges in Brussels National / Zaventem and Tel Aviv / Ben Gurion airports. The flight schedule allows easy transfer connections on numerous flights operated by SN beyond Brussels (Europe, Africa) and by El Al beyond Tel Aviv.
