Envirotainer, pioneers of the active temperature-controlled air cargo container, has appointed Peltransport as its general sales agent in Israel to support the country’s emerging biotech and healthcare industry.
Establishing Tel Aviv as a full service station in Envirotainer’s global network means, with immediate effect, all lessees of the company’s containers can start and end leases in Tel Aviv. In addition to dry ice containers, customers in Israel can also lease Envirotainer’s new electrical heating and compressor cooling RKN e1 that was launched in 2005 to satisfy the extreme requirements of the healthcare industry in regards to product integrity and regulatory requirements.
Martin Peter, Director, Business Development & Marketing of Envirotainer, said: “Israel’s emerging biotech and healthcare industry is expected to grow considerably over the next few years. Appointing Peltransport is part of our commitment to the Israeli market and will ensure customers have direct access to Envirotainer’s full range of containers and Cold Chain Management services.”
“With the increasing exports of healthcare products from Israel, and thereby the increasing need for reliable, temperature-controlled air transportation, I believe Envirotainer offers the right solution and expertise for shippers who have high demands on their cold chain distribution," added Hillel Magnes, Export Manager at Peltransport.
Peltransport Ltd was established in 1947 and it is one of the leading transport organizations in Israel. In addition to its head office in Tel Aviv, it has branch offices in Haifa, Ashdod, Jerusalem and Ben-Gurion international airport.
