The Israel Airports Authority (IAA) announced last week that it had completed renovation of Eilat Airport (IATA airport code: ETH, ICAO airport code: LLET) which serves internal civilian flights, international charter flights, private flights, at a cost of NIS 5.5 million.
In a detailed statement the IAA said that the arrivals lounge of the airport had been expanded and the departures lounge had been refurbished. The IAA also said that an additional parking strip, costing over NIS 2 million had been laid to allow aircraft to park, thereby reducing delays in landings and takeoffs.
