A global aviation agreement could allow Israeli carriers unlimited flights between EU member states

Israel and the European Union signed last week a new aviation agreement that paves the way to a future global aviation agreement with all EU members

A global aviation agreement, if approved, could allow Israeli carriers unlimited flights between EU member states

Transportation Ministry director-general, Gideon Siterman who headed the Israeli delegation said following the signing ceremony in Jerusalem that: "A global aviation agreement, could allow Israeli carriers unlimited flights between EU member states."
Siterman added that the negotiations eventually could lead to a revolution in the aviation relations Israel shares with the 27 states of the EU.

Siterman also noted that "Liberalization of the civil aviation agreement and flexing the conditions of the competition would eventually lower air fares by 5-15% and increase the number of competing airlines on each one of the aerial routes”.
