All three Israeli carriers: El Al, Arkia and Israir reported 533,000 passengers in July
Data released last week by Israel Airports Authority show that Israel's airlines: El Al, Arkia and Israir saw a 1.28% decrease in their passenger traffic in July compared to the corresponding month last year.
El Al, Arkia and Israir - carried 533,000 passengers at Ben-Gurion in July, or 39% of the total international traffic.
The data noted that the decrease in passengers numbers occurred even though the month of July was Ben-Gurion International Airport's busiest month ever.
A total of 1.41 million passengers passed through Ben-Gurion airport, of whom 1.35 million were flying on international flights.
