The Israel Airport Authority said last week that it registered a drop of 6% in air cargo moving through Ben Gurion Airport during the first six months of 2005.
The authority noted that during the six months period 161,101 tons were flown in passenger aircraft and freighters. The drop represents a decrease of over 10 thousands tons compared to the same period last year.
The authority also noted that last June it registered a 4% in cargo moving in passenger aircraft and 7% drop in cargo moving in freighters.
