South Korea’s flag carrier, Korean Air, announced last week that as from September 14th, the company will operate two Boeing 747-400F cargo flights to Israel's  Ben Gurion International Airport.

Korean Air cargo agent in Israel, Turbo Cargo GSA Israel Ltd, said in a press release that the flights will depart on Tuesday and Friday. Flights will land at Ben Gurion International Airport at 14:50 and takeoff at 17:50 arriving at Seoul's Incheon International Airport, at 10:15 the following day.

All flights will fly to Seoul and from there on cargo will be flown, on the following day, by connecting flights to destinations in the Far East, Australia and New Zealand.

As from October 2010 cargo flights will take off late at night, thus increasing the flexibility of export cargo reaching Ben Gurion International Airport in time for theflight.
