In a ceremony held last week in Tel Aviv to mark the newly established cooperation between LOT Polish Airlines and Open Sky Ltd., Mr. Sebastian Mikosz President of the Management Board of LOT Polish Airlines said that the company has concluded plans to operate two daily flights to Israel as from early next year.
The company has recently concluded an agreement with Open Sky Ltd. to act as Lot's GSA in Israel.
Open Sky Ltd. is a subsidiary of IDB Tourism Holdings, the tourism arm of IDB Group, Israel's largest mixed use holding conglomerate - IDB Group.
Open Sky Ltd. is Israel's leading Airline General Sales agent, representing over 20 off-line and on-line airlines in Israel. Among the airlines OS represents in Israel one can find: BMI, JAL, JAT, Bulgaria Air, Cyprus Airlines, TAP, Mexicana, Royal Air Nepal and others.
Lot operates six weekly flights to Israel. The route has enjoyed an annual growth rate of 10% during each of the past five years.
