As from last Monday, the cargo division of Lufthansa has increased its cargo capacity on the TLV – Vienna route.
 
In a press release, the company noted that its Austrian Airlines subsidiary will operate two daily flights from Tel Aviv to Vienna, five days a week. The two daily flights will be operated by B767, which has 10 tons of cargo capacity, replacing the A321.

 
The company noted that its Vienna hub operates over 35 direct daily flights to 31 destinations in 23 countries in central and east Europe.
 
The company added that the joint cargo capacity of Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines, serving the Israeli market, includes two daily passenger wide-body flights from Tel Aviv to Frankfurt – 34 tons per day, five weekly flights to Munich – 18 tons per day and two daily wide body passenger flights to Vienna – 20 tons per day.
