Israel will put on display some of the groundbreaking defensive and weapons systems developed by Israeli industry. The 49th Paris Air Show will take place at Le Bourget exhibition centre from 20 to 26 June 2011

 
The 49th Paris Air Show will take place at Le Bourget exhibition centre from 20 to 26 June 2011, will once again bring together all the industry’s players worldwide to showcase the latest technological innovations.
 
The Paris Air Show has been the world’s leading aviation and space event for over 100 years. The show is organized by Salon International de l’Aeronautique et de l’Espace (SIAE), a subsidiary of GIFAS (the French Aerospace Industries Association).
 
With its 28 international pavilions, 140 aircraft the show will offer its 138,000 professional visitors and 200,000 general public visitors a unique experience.
 
Israel will, once again, put on display some of the groundbreaking defensive and weapons systems developed by Israeli industry.


Two of the most exciting products coming out of Israel this year – and, observers said, two of the most exciting products to be on display at the show altogether – are the Iron Dome short-range rocket defense system, and the Trophy “Windjacket” active protection system for light and heavy armored fighting vehicles.
