Israel's airport authority released last week figures relating to passenger traffic at Ben Gurion Airport
The figures indicate that passenger numbers during the month of February and the first week of March 2006 was up by 17%, compared with the corresponding period last year.
The number of passengers using the airport during this period was 1.17 million, compared to 1 million in the parallel period last year.
