Report published by Israel's civil aviation authority for 2004 show "Uzbekistan Airways" among the 12 busiest airlines operating from Israel. In 2004 the company flew 32,983 passengers and experienced the highest number of passengers per flight.
Mr. Dov Rapaport, director general of RPA-Port Airservice, Uzbekistan Airways's GSA in Israel, noted that data published by the civil aviation authority show that in 2004 the company experienced 45.7% increase in air-cargo shipments from Israel to far eastern destinations via Tashkent international airport.
Rpa-port added that during 2004, "Uzbekistan Airways" experienced an increase of 28.7% in air cargo imported to Israel thus putting "Uzbekistan Airways" in the seventh place among the airlines that experienced the highest export growth and in the fifth place among the airlines that experienced the highest import growth.
"Uzbekistan Airways" operates highly attractive schedule flights to and from Israel via Tashkent international airport, serving over 20 destinations in Europe, Asia and America. The company operates brand new Airbus and Boeing aircraft and fly over well secured air routes.
