A low-cost Spanish airline, Vueling, will start flying between Barcelona and Tel Aviv on June 15, 2010.
The airline will operate Airbus A-320s and will offer three weekly flights in each direction: From Ben-Gurion International Airport at 5 A.M. on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from Barcelona at 10:30 P.M. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Vueling is a Spanish low cost airline based in Barcelona. Vueling, Spain's second largest, operates domestic and international flights to various European destinations and its main hubs are airports in Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and Paris. In 2006 Vueling was named the third-best low cost airline in Europe. Like most of the low cost airlines, Vueling does not offer any free refreshment on board, but it is available for purchase. Its fleet consisted of 35 aircrafts in 2010.
