Swissport Cargo Services Israel Ltd. signed last week an agreement to provide Korean Air Cargo with ground and cargo handling services at Ben Gurion Airport for another three years.
In a statement issued by Swissport Cargo Services Israel Ltd. it noted that the newly signed agreement covers full range of cargo services including loading and offloading services for aircraft.
Korean Air Cargo operates three weekly Boeing 747 combi flights, which allows for both passenger and cargo transport. The Boeing 747 combi flights can move 90 tons of cargo per week.
Udi Dror, Swissport marketing director, noted during an interview with Port2Port that the agreement signed last week can be recognized not only, as a benchmark in terms of value for money, customer dedication, and cost management but also as a proof of thecustomers strong belief in the state of the art ground support the company can provide.
Swissport Israel will continue to provide services to Korean Air Cargo until 2012
