TNT noted that the move will enable the company to provide superior service to its customers
TNT Express Worldwide (Israel) Ltd announced last week that a decision had been taken to divert all incoming and outgoing cargo operations from Maman air caro terminal to Swissport Cargo Services Israel Ltd. TNT Express Worldwide (Israel) Ltd is the first express cargo operator in Israel to have made such a move.
Swissport provides state-of-the-art cargo services with a wide range of storage capabilities. It has a storage capability of approximately 18 thousand sqm, and additional 4.500 sqm of offices for its customers.
In a statement issued by TNT the company noted that the move will enable the company to provide superior service to its customers.
Mr. Uri Shochat, Swissport's COO, noted that a special task force was set up by Swissport, TNT and the airport customs unit to study ways and means to speed up cargo clearance at the new location which will result in higher added value services to TNT Express.
