The International Air Transport Association (IATA) promotes the "Air Cargo Makes it Happen" campaign in order to raise the awareness of what a critical industry air cargo is to the commerce, the economy and the global community.

IATA Israel together with the cargo terminals in Ben Gurion International Airport: Maman and swissport are promoting the value of air cargo for a sustainable economy by roll-up and posters in the main entrance to the terminals and in the customer service counters. The campaign strands: The value of modern live, the value to economics prosperity and the value to the global community.

Air Cargo transports over US$5 trillion worth of goods, 35% of the value of the goods and approximately US$60 billion in Airline revenues. Air Cargo is a critical part of the airline business which, as a whole, is the heart of a value chain that supports 32 million jobs and US$3.5 trillion of economic activity. It is an important industry that is critical to global business
