Uzbekistan Airways added, beginning of November, a weekly flight from Ben Gurion Airport to Tashkent thus increasing the capacity as well as the frequency for the benefit of Israeli exporters who use Uzbekistan Airways to reach CIS and Far Eastern destinations.
The company, according to messers R.P.A. Port Air Services, Uzbekistan Airways 's GSA in Israel, operates three flights per week, connecting Ben Gurion and Tashkent from where connecting flights carry cargo forward to various Far Eastern destinations.
The new flight departs Ben Gurion at midnight on Friday and lands at Tashkent on Saturday 08:00 LT.
Mr. Dov Rapoport, director general of R.P.A. Port Air Services said that the new flight will narrow down the time gap between connecting flights to each and every Far Eastern destination.
He added that Uzbekistan Airways serves more than 20 world wide destinations including Europe, North America and Asia . The company operates the latest aircraft models made by Boing and Airbus.
