20 Israeli companies in "Red Herring" 100 most promising enterprizes

The European technology journal "Red Herring" published it's "Red Herring 100 Europe", a selection of the 100 companies which, according to the journal's editorial team, are the most promising private companies in Europe and Israel. The listed companies play a leading role in innovation and technology.
 
Red Herring's editor noted that more than 20 companies feature prominently on the Red Herring 100 Europe list.Israel is the second most highly represented country, with only Britain providing more than a fifth of the companies on the list. Together Israel and Britain are responsible for 53 percent of these promising companies.  Ireland, Finland, France and Germany each have less than 10 names on the list.
 
Among the 20 Israeli firmsare BitBand Technologies, CableMatrix Technologies, Connect One, Kayote Networks, D-Pharm ( biotechnology ) , Exanet, Exent Technologies, EZchip, Followap, FlexLight, Flash Networks, Kilolambda Technologies, Mellanox, Orsense, Safend SanRAD, Telmap, TdSoft, StoreAge Networking, Unicorn Solutions, Unipier, and Wisair (developing an ultra-wideband chip set for wireless communications).
 
"Red Herring"s editor noted that the journal's investigating team evaluated business strategies of 200 finalists in the fields of financing, marketing, technology, sales & service .
