An analysis of figures published by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) made by economic Ministries show that 43,000 new business sector jobs were added in the period January-November 2005, an increase of 2.5%.
According to the ministries the number of business sector jobs increased by 1.2% in the first quarter of 2005 and 1.3% in the second, however job growth slowed down at the beginning of the third quarter.
The analysis also noted that 99,000 new business sector jobs have been created since January 2004, an increase of 6%.
In 2003 the number of business sector jobs fell by 0.5% and in 2002 fell by 1%.
