The Agro Mashov Exhibition will present new agro technologies of growing, post harvesting, storing, packing and logistics and innovations in greenhouses and plant nurseries
 
The 17th International Agro-Mashov Exhibition will take place this week (18-19 April 2007) at the Trade Fair & Convention Centre Tel-Aviv, Israel.

The 17th Agro Mashov Exhibition will present new agro technologies of growing, post harvesting, storing, packing and logistics. Also, innovations in greenhouses and plant nurseries, water recycling, mechanization and equipment, etc.
 
Farmers and exporters will display a large array of new varieties of vegetables, fruits (regular and exotic) herbs and flowers. Special emphasis will be given this year to the Logistic issues, in view of its importance and decisive role in retaining Israel's status as one of the world's leading suppliers of fresh fruits and vegetables.

According to the exhibition organizers, 21 delegations from various countries are expected to attend, including delegations from Jordan, India, Egypt, Indonesia, Turkey and several South American countries. One of the largest groups will be coming from China, which is sending a high-ranking delegation including the directors general of a number of government ministries as well as the heads of large agricultural and export firms.
