The Bank of Israel announced last week that the March 2006 State of the Economy Index rose by 0.5%


The Bank added that the index rose by 1.5% in Q1/06 and by 2.1% between December 2005 and March 2006.
The Bank of Israel noted that the rise in the State of the Economy index reflected continued rapid expansion in economic activity in all sectors.
