Israeli Finance Minister Abraham Hirchson was given British Chancellor Gordon Brown assurance that Britain will support Israel’s bid to join the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
The two ministers met in London to discuss the possibility of a summit between finance ministers of Middle Eastern countries as part of an effort to increase financial cooperation in the region.
