Output in leading high-tech sectors, including electronics, avionics and pharmaceuticals, rose by an annual 16%. the number of employees in high-tech sectors increased by an annual 4.7%

The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) announced last week that Israel's industrial output rose in September-November 2006  by an annualized 10%.
 
Output in leading high-tech sectors, including electronics, avionics and pharmaceuticals, rose by an annual 16%.
 
Industrial output in mixed high technology industries (chemicals, machinery, electrical and transport equipment) rose by an annual 4% in September-November
 
Industrial output in low technology industries rose by an annual 1.2% in September-November, after falling 3% in the preceding quarter
 
The number of employees in industry and the number of work hours per employee rose by an annual 2.7%, while the number of employees in high-tech sectors increased by an annual 4.7%.
 
The number of employees in mixed high technology industries rose by an annual 4.6%. The number of employees in low technology industries fell by an annual 0.4%.
