Moshe Asher, Director General Israel Tax Authority, announced the nomination of Avi Arditi as Deputy Director General Investigations and Intelligence to head the Israeli Customs Directorate.

 

Arditi (51) headed the General Investigations and Intelligence which focused its activities on all matters related to organized crime and to create deterrence. He set up the Diamond Unit which has become a key tool in the fight against organized crime.

 

It and other investigative units, including the fictitious bank accounts unit, have discovered a lot of black capital.
