December's reading was the lowest since March, as transport (-5.4%); fresh fruit and vegetables (-16.9%), culture and entertainment (-1.5%), dwellings maintenance (-5.5%); furniture (-1.6%) and clothing (-1.7%) prices fell. In contrast, upward pressure came from: housing (+2.2%), footwear (6.2%) and food (+2.1%).
