The first half of 2007 witnessed 5% decline in export of turism services which totaled US$1.5 billion, export of transport services was up 11% compared to the parallel

Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute chairman, David Arzi, said last week that export of professional services, in the first half of 2007, totaled US$10 billion compared to the parallel in 2006. He predicted that for the whole 2007, export of professional services would increase by 10% to reach US$21 billion.

Analysis made by the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute show that the first half of 2007 witnessed 5% decline in export of turism services which totaled US$1.5 billion, export of transport services was up 11% (US$2.0 billion ) compared to the parallel.

Export of professional services classified as others which include software services, building and engineering services totaled US$6.6 billion, an increase of 6% compared to the parallel.
